Description of the Service

ChromaShift is a Spicetify extension that lets you customize Spotify's colors, with an associated website offering a user account, cloud sync for custom presets, and community features.

Account Registration

To use account-related features you must register with an email, a password, and by linking your Spotify User ID. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out through your account.

Passwords are stored as cryptographic hashes and are never visible, not even to the Service's administrators — if you forget yours, you'll need to reset it through the recovery process.

Age Requirements

To register an account you must meet the minimum age required by your country's law to independently consent to the processing of personal data. If you have not reached that age, you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• upload or share illegal, offensive, violent content, or content that infringes third-party rights
• attempt to access other users' accounts or compromise the security of the Service
• evade a ban by creating multiple or fake accounts
• use the Service for purposes other than those it was designed for

Community & Shared Content

If you enable community features and share custom presets, you remain personally responsible for them. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, without prior notice.

Moderation & Account Suspension

In case of a violation of these Terms, we may:

• remove the content in question (e.g. a preset shared in the community)
• suspend or ban your account

A banned account permanently loses access to ChromaShift. We retain data related to the action (reason, duration, email, Spotify User ID) indefinitely to prevent ban evasion through new registrations. For details on how this data is processed, see our Privacy Policy.

Cloud Sync

The preset cloud sync feature is provided "as is". While we take reasonable measures to ensure the service's reliability, we do not guarantee against all possible data loss: we recommend periodically exporting your presets locally as a backup.

Intellectual Property MIT

The ChromaShift extension's source code is distributed under the MIT License and is publicly available on GitHub. These Terms instead govern use of the account and the associated web services (dashboard, cloud sync, community), which remain the property of the Controller.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.

Changes to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the website.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction provided for under applicable Italian law.
